Eric Wujcik, contributor to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles RPG, After the Bomb, Rifts, and many other RPG products, passed away Sat evening away due to complications related to pancreatic and liver cancer.
On his site, you can also see some other games he takes credit for, including something called Magic Risk (1981).
As if $9.99 wan’t cheap enough, Pinnacle Entertainment is now offering a free “Test Drive” version of their Savage Worlds roleplaying system, along with a new one-sheet adventure, The Moscow Connection. Savage Worlds is a generic system meant to be “fast, furious, and fun.”
Now that Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition has hit the streets, guest blogger Michael Zenke reports on his playtest experience in Wired’s Underwire blog. In general, Michael found the mechanics of the new edition to make for much smoother play, and the rules overall to make preparation much easier for the Dungeon Master.
Lock’n Load Publishing, maker of wargames such as the World at War series, is offering for preorder All Things Zombie. This new game basically appears to be a hex-and-counter tactical combat game with a zombie theme.
But what’s not to love about that? Follow the link and take a look at the fantastic art. The game will come with four maps illustrating suburbs, desert towns, and inner cities. It’s also designed so that you can play solo, on the same side as your friends, or head-to-head. And you can link your survivors counter-zombie missions into a longer campaign.
