A day after the brokered cease-fire between Hamas and Israel, residents in the Gaza Strip and adjacent Israeli towns spent the day playing games.

This week, 27-29 June, Fantasy Flight Games is sponsoring A Game of Thrones and Call of Cthulhu card game events in Germany’s Castle Stahleck. The European Championship tournaments for each game will be part of this event, but there will be casual play as well. While we’ve not heard any news lately from Ridley Scott’s Monopoly board game movie, Bollywood is finishing a Monopoly movie of their own.

Shooting for the film ended last week. It’s – surprise – a love story about banking and money with dance numbers. The movie is directed by Nilesh Malhotra and stars Zeenat Aman among others.
