In March, the world record for the number of Dominoes players was set during the Calle Ocho Street Festival in Miami. The record was 278 players.
That number has now been beat. The new world record was set at the VI World Championship of Dominoes in Orlando. The new record is 332 players.
Still doesn’t sound that hard to beat.

During their five years of captivity, the Colombian hostages carved an ornate chess set and played Chess in order to keep sane.
They did such a good carving job, that their captors requested a set, as well.
Marc spent three months carving the pieces. “We would sit chained and, thanks to this guy, we were sitting on a piece of plastic, just playing chess,” narrates Keith Stansell. “When you are doing that you are free. Your mind is engaged, you are not a prisoner. That’s the gain, that’s the victory. And they don’t even know it.

The Kingdoms of Kalamar campaign setting is now available for Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition. Being made available by Kenzer and Company as a 501 page PDF book, Kalamar features extensive cultural background information, as well as a full-color scholarly atlas. Kalamar was very successful as a 3.5 edition setting and has the style to fit well a 4e campaign.
