(hat tip)

Family Night this Sunday at the Green Bay Packer’s training camp features an intra-squad scrimmage between the Packers’ offense and defense. It appears to attract some 60,000 fans, so could be considered a popular to-do.

This years’ activities, which include a picnic, handing out sweaty t-shirts (ala the famous commercial), fireworks, cheerleaders, and an Oneida Nation dance troupe, includes what the organizers claim will be the “world’s largest board game”.

My sole information comes from the source: “In the board game, fans will try to roll jumbo dice strategically on the playing field.”

At the Ward W. O’Hara Agricultural Museum of Cayuga County in Auburn, NY, you can bring your closest 300 friends for a board game party (at least, I think that’s what the source indicates).

One of their current exhibitions includes checkers, dominoes, chess, pick-up sticks, jacks, Game of Pig, Game of Hazard, Nine Pins, Ten Pins and Naughts and Crosses (tick-tac-toe), and visitors are invited to play.
