Mark of CrystalMinds has finished his beta version of Settlers of Catan designed for a multi-touch computer system. You know, the kind where you play by dragging and moving pieces around on a flat horizontal screen.
He welcomes beta testers, but you have to have the hardware to try it out. When i asked what that meant, he pointed me here, which didn’t answer the question, but puts his work into context. You can see example applications here.
This past Thursday, Fantasy Flight Games hosted a preview screening for the final cut of Midnight Chronicles, a movie based on their Midnight roleplaying game. The movie has been entirely produced in-house at Fantasy Flight, a significant departure for the game company. As an RPG, Midnight is distinctly high-fantasy. In this setting the quintessential evil god has actually won in his battle to control the world.

From Lost Battalion Games comes Tyrants of Rome, a new card game for two to six players. Using the two decks of cards in the game, players build factions using legions, bribes, and assassins to seize control of the declining Roman Empire.
