Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.

“11” is a beautifully designed Foosball game from GRO design and Tim modelmakers. The only existing model was exhibited at Milan Design Week last April.

It’s not available to the general public, but if you contact them they may be able to work something out. In the meantime, watch it in action:

Reach for the Stars is a game designed to promote self-esteem. With activity cards such as
“Say two nice things about each player”
and
“Stand up and shout ‘I’m happy to be me!’”,
and reward cards such as
“Helping and giving are things you do well, you’re coming along and growing up swell! (Move forward 2 spaces)”,
a good time is sure to be had by me if I’m not playing it.

California Vacation is a roll, move, pick the cards, and follow the instructions game. There are no decisions to be made.
According to the designer, the full game takes up to six months to complete, with up to ten players playing eight hours a day. A shorter version will take one and a half to two hours. The game costs $60.
Tremorworks is selling all their games at 50% off until they release their new HDL setting, LUCID: Dreamscape Reality.
I’m assuming this includes all HDL products as well as the Elementalis games.
