Mattel finalized its acquisition of all Blokus brand games, as well as Whac-A-Mole (which is interesting, as currently Hasbro makes Whac-a-Mole games).
Since Blokus was one of the best selling toys this year (still #1 on Amazon), someone in Mattel’s keeping his or her job.

You know, I’m prepared for the occasional “board game with swastika” hoopla from some online site or parental group.
But let’s note the following: kids’ board game. (source) Kids’ board game?
Some of you might wonder “what kids’ game has a swastika on it?” That was my first thought. But my second thought? “Who says it was a kids’ game?” Did someone just stick the word “kids’” in there because it happens to be a board game?
