Privateer Press‘ Monsterpocalypse game is really quite outstanding – great miniatures, a fun set of mechanics and an acceptable level of collectibility. If the game has one Achilles’ heel, its the fact that the miniatures are loaded with symbols, each with a different meaning and a pretty significant impact on gameplay. What’s a frustrated gamer to do? Check out these figure cards by Kitsune (a frequent poster on the Monsterpocalypse boards), hosted by Weeblick T (another frequent poster who has some nice utilities on the site) – not only are they drop-dead gorgeous, but they’ve got explanations for each of the one-off symbols. We’ve started using these in our games and they’ve made game play much simpler.
