rifts-rpgApparently the recent controversy over PDFs hasn’t deterred Palladium. As of Monday, the company has begun making its RPG books available in electronic form on DriveThruRPG. The first 19 include such classics as the Rifts RPG, The Palladium Fantasy Role-Playing Game, Heroes Unlimited, Aliens Unlimited, and earlier Rifter issues. Here’s your chance at a complete collection of the first multigenre roleplaying system and epic adventure in the Megaverse.

I’m having a bit of a geek overload here – bear with me. Privateer Press has announced that in early 2010, they will be releasing an expansion featuring Voltron: Defender of the Universe! And to be clear, we don’t seem to be talking about the crappy non-lion versions of Voltron – we’re talking about the first iteration with Zarkon, Haggar, Lance, Hunk and the rest. The expansion itself will feature Voltron and various Robeasts – which is really all anyone cares about… All of this is part of the 25th anniversary of Voltron (culminating with a live action movie in 2010) which promises to bring further media tie-ins. As far as I’m concerned, this is a perfect fit for Monsterpocalypse and leaves me inspired to create Voltron-themed terrain…
