Consensus is a party game where ten nouns are turned up, and then one adjective is turned up. Each player gets to vote on a noun that most closely matches the adjective, and any majority votes gain a point. The game also comes in a Movie Edition.

Unfortunately, like other voting party games, it seems rather difficult to prevent collusion from spoiling the game.

Saw this source on a Jamaican team trying to raise money to get to the 7th World Dominoes Championships, which will be held in St Petersburg, Russia “next month” (May). So I googled …

This site claims the 34th World Championship Domino Tournament will be held in July, in Andalusia.

Meanwhile, The Federation International de Domino claims that the Domino World Championship will be held in December.

Last we heard, a sixth grader’s board game on the 2010 South African World Cup was being evaluated by Supersport.

ODMasia, an branding company, is also planning a board game to tie in to the World Cup. It’s set to be launched in Hong Kong this week.

RTL, makers of the hit UK board game series Destination is also planning a World Cup tie in.

Alara Reborn, the latest expansion in the latest block of 145 Magic cards, is set to be released on April 30. So pre-releases have been taking place this weekend.

Alara Reborn is the first all-gold Magic set, including gold artifacts. I thought artifacts were colorless, but that shows you how long its been since I bought Magic cards.
