DD&D looks like your standard game fare. But the website is a sight to behold. Start with that it is on a site called “DrinkingFun.com” and calls itself a “drinking game”, but claims to be an anti-drinking game.

How about red black or some silly drinking game where you have to play along while watching t.v.? It starts to get very boring and it’s just not as funny after the first few minutes. It gets real funny when one of your buddies has to take a sobriety test, the pressure is on and everyone at the table is laughing at him, you just know he is going to fail. The police officer tests him, and then………… He fails, hahahah and he spits his beer out through his nose and you fall off your chair laughing so hard… I love it. Well, as long as im not the one failing a sobriety test.

Doin’ DC, by sggc Nice Ideas, is a game about politicians and their improprieties and other foibles.

You play a media personality in DC whose job is to uncover what is probably best left uncovered (the media also have their improprieties and foibles). Looks a bit like Washington, DC Clue.

Recovery is a board game from sggc Salter Entertainment about  addiction and humor, from a recovering and a comedian (also a recovering).

Start at rock bottom and work your way to the winner’s circle, with a humorous board and cards. I’m guessing it’s fairly low on replay value.

Cold Snap Canadian Pro Football is a new item from Plaay.com, a one-man publisher of various sports board games.

The game is supposed to be very detailed and yet simple to play, and can also be played solitaire.

Other games from Plaay include Pro Football, Pro Bowling, Demolition Derby, Pro Indoor Lacrosse, Pro Wrestling, and Roller Derby. In the works are Pro Hockey, Pro Baseball, Stock-Car Racing, and Jai Alai.
