The Canadian Senior Games Association serves as a focal point for a dozen game associations across Canada aimed at citizens aged 55+. They also organize the Canada 55+ Games, a semi-annual game event held progressively in different provinces across Canada. The next one is scheduled for August, 2010 in Brockville, ON.

Their links page links to the other associations. The Nova Scotia 55+ Games is ending today.

Games include tabletop games such as Scrabble and Bridge, traditional senior’s games such as Horseshoes and Shuffleboard, and sports such as Swimming and Track and Field. And, of course, the centuries-old game of geocaching.

igowinOne of the only computer games I actually play, IGoWin, is now available on the IPhone.

It’s Go on a 9×9 board, and is the baby version of the best Go program “The Many Faces of Go”.
