Imperial Gazetteer is a new Open Design Dungeons & Dragons setting book chock-full of undead. There’s the surface lands ruled by vampires and spectral knights, the underground Empire of the Ghouls, a Ghoul PC race, undead-themed gods and magic items, and Baba Yaga. Grisly.
November 8-11 at The Arts Center in Melbourne, Australia, the Full Tilt program for independent artists will be presenting Tripod Dungeons and Dragons the Opera—The Kitchen Table Version.
Scod (a wizard), Yon (a priest) and Gatesy (a fighter who dreams of being a bard) invite you to join them for a sneaky look at their greatest musical yet … sorry, opera.
If any of our readers can make it, let us know what you think.

Bjorn Halvard Knappskog won the Monopoly World Title in Las Vegas, Nevada when New Zealander, Geoff Christopher, couldn’t afford the $1600 rent after landing on both Pacific Avenue and North Carolina Avenue. Amazingly, the game only lasted 45 minutes long. I’m guessing that when you play without annoying house rules, the game really is quick.
The championship was held at Caesar’s Palace, and hosted players from over 41 different countries.
Business Education Publishing publishes (or carries – many are from Franklin Learning Systems), a list of skill-building educational board games. All the games cost $50 to $55 on the site, unless noted (and generally far less, if bought using the link to Amazon).
For more of these types of games, check out Franklin Learning Systems’ game collection.
This gruesome looking game is actually a positioning abstract from Recent Toys International.
Move your mouth next to one of your opponent’s eyeballs to eat them. Eat four eyeballs to win the game.
Goliath has a few new games since Trapdoor Checkers, which is we last checked in on them:

Fast Food: Plays similarly to Halli Galli / Jungle Speed, with a burger theme

KenKen: A game version of the puzzle; simply a race to see who completes their puzzle first

That’s It: Guess Who? with animals

What’s Wild: Rat-a-tat Cat, with a wild card

Pop the Pig: Roll the die to see how many burgers you have to stuff into the pig. You lose if you’re the one to make the pig’s belly explode.

Wordquest: A competitive word finding game with an elaborate board
Jukem Football is a Mille Bornes-style American football-themed card game by sggc Flying Pig Games, designed by Jeff Spelman. It is a reworking of the game Quick Count , a Mille Bornes-style American football-themed card game by sggc Spelman Media, designed by Jeff Spelman. The object is to play to 100 points as often as possible.
Tom Vasel trashed Quick Count in a rare-for-him thoroughly negative review on BGG. But it’s no surprise, as he also hates Mille Bornes.
Jukem has new hazard cards, a beginner’s and expert’s deck, and new artwork.
