Dreamworks has secured the rights to make a movie based on Monsterpocalypse (75% off at Amazon, booster 85% off), and has allegedly approached Tim Burton to direct it.
What with Hasbro and Mattel set to release a few million movies based on board games, does the quality of the game foretell anything about the quality of the movie? Remember the Dungeons and Dragons movie?

Wow, Dreamworks?! I had no idea Monpoc was even CLOSE to that popular.
Why the heck is the 40k movie going straight to dvd?
By the way, that 75-85% off deal *is* too good to be true: I put $35 worth of products in my cart at Amazon, and the shipping charge was almost $40. Absurd.
Jeff: If I calculate correctly, that’s still 45-65% off and no shipping charge. Still worth it.
Yes, I remember the Dungeons and Dragons movie, and it was AWESOME!
Actually, it’s still worth it for the starter set, but somewhat less worth it for the boosters (the boosters are $7 shipped against $13 retail), but still not terrible.
