Christopher Mayer of Woodbine Street Games has just released Frogs!, an abstract strategy game where players are trying to gain control over a pond. To do this, they must surround their opponents frogs with theirs, similar to capturing pieces in Go. An interesting aspect of the game is that the board is constantly changing. As frogs move, the next hexagonal pond tile over from the one they were on gets flipped. At the end of the game the person with the most frogs left wins.

Chris has also stated that half the proceeds from game sales will go to The Children’s Heart Foundation, an organization that does research and provides care for children with heart defects.

Frogs! is available now from The Game Crafter for $27.99.
