Lake Metroparks in Kirtland, Ohio has setup a life-sized board game based on the 12 Days of Christmas this year. The exhibit is free and open to the public starting on November 17th, and it will run until January 6th. People play as the pieces of this giant board game, who’s theme has been tweaked a bit from the popular Christmas song to include all winter-themed animals for each day of Christmas. The game will have tons of hands-on parts, including tunnels and slides.

The giant game also features classic board games from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s, all donated by the staff.

I don’t know about you, but this seems like an awesome idea to me. Too bad I’m not a bit closer to Ohio!
