Support Small Game Businesses

Intuit’s Love Our Local Business Spring Wishes 2013 Program will provide grants of up to $5,000 for 15 small businesses, plus a suite of products for the five entrants who’ve received the most votes from the public by May 12th. Several game-related businesses have entered. Consider extending them your support:

• Red Castle Games—a retailer in Portland, Oregon.
• House of Fantasy Comics & Games—a game shop in Niagara Falls, New York.
• Vorticity—a manufacturer of bag toss games.
• Games on Main—a retailer in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
• Paddy’s Game Shoppe—a retailer in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
• Dr. Ben & Company—a pediatrician developing games about exercise and allergies.
• Pam—wants help hiring a patent attorney to protect her son’s game idea.
• Dragon’s Nest Gaming—a CCG shop in Pineville, Louisiana.
• Flipin’ Game Company—a manufacturer of handcrafted wooden tabletop games.
• The Hobby House—a game store in Kingsville, Texas.
