Fluxx Fifth With the Doubleclicks

A fifth edition of Fluxx is on its way to retail from Looney Labs. The biggest change in Fluxx 5.0 is the elimination of Creepers, which are being replaced by 17 Goals, Actions, and New Rules. Other changes include new illustrations, a revised card layout, and new packaging design.

To celebrate the occasion, Looney Labs commissioned a Fluxx theme song from The Doubleclicks:

Holiday Fluxx

LOO-064Have you had enough Fluxx yet? No?

Good.

Hitting shelves on October 3rd, Holiday Fluxx is the Fluxx about everyone’s favorite time of the year.

Holiday Fluxx is a simple version of the game with no Creepers, and makes the perfect stocking stuffer. At $16, it’s an easy pill to swallow.

CTN Fluxx Looney LabsLoony Labs has just signed a deal with Cartoon Network to bring CN versions of Fluxx to the market. Regular Show Fluxx and a multi-property Cartoon Network Fluxx will be unveiled this July at Comic-Con International and will be available at select retailers beginning this summer.

Regular Show Fluxx highlights the show’s lead charactersa blue jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby, who are best friends working as groundskeepers at a local park. Their attempts to slack off and get out of work lead to strange, surreal misadventures.

Cartoon Network Fluxx will feature a diverse line-up of fan-favorite characters from a variety of the network’s hit original series including Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter’s Laboratory, Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy, Johnny Bravo, The Powerpuff Girls and Samurai Jack.

Regular Show Fluxx will be available for $20, while Cartoon Network Fluxx will be $12.

While I’m not the biggest fan of Fluxx, you can bet I’ll be picking up the multi-property version of the game.
