ponzischeme

Created by Taiwanese designer Jesse Li and published by Homosapiens Lab, Ponzi Scheme is an economic race set in the background of the 1919 fraudulent investment operation run by Charles Ponzi. Each turn players collect Fund cards that belong to various Industries, together with some cash. Since dividends have to be paid after certain rounds, players have to bargain and trade with each other in order to rob Peter and pay Paul. The game ends when someone declares bankruptcy, and the player who owns the most assets wins.

Ponzi Scheme plays 2 to 5 players in 60 – 90 minutes, and is expected to be released by the end of July 2015. For players’ convenience, the rulebook is available in English, Traditional Chinese, French and Japanese languages.
