Purple is a warm color, without being too sharp. When you see someone playing with purple you don’t get the aggressive feel of Green, Yellow or Red, the blinding of Orange or the non-feeling of White and Black. You think the Purple player to be nice giving him the edge ;-)

I LOVE purple… it was my University colours. I’d paint my bedroom purple if my husband would allow.

Purple is the best because it is the color of ninjas!
People think that ninjas wear black, but that is not so. The night is not true black. It is deep, deep purple. Therefore, if you do not want your opponents to see you until it is too late, play purple. Their defeat will be sudden and without warning!
When I was 5 years old, I received what is to date still the greatest birthday gift I’ve ever received: a bicycle. As a dutchman, my father made sure to get me an orange one, but the seat was purple! I can recall the colour to this day: somewhere between gentle lavender and the deeper, more striking grape jelly. To dad’s dismay, I soon asked if we could paint the whole bike that same wonderful colour. I rode regally through the neighbourhood astride my purple two-wheeler for years to come!
My daughter’s favorite color is purple, and she has a purple bedroom.

I’ve always liked purple because it has historically been associated with royalty and power. However, you just didn’t want to be one of the millions upon millions of tiny shellfish which had to die to support the ancient purple dye industry. Hmm…there’s gotta be a game in that theme somewhere…
Actually, purple is the color of old Chinese emperor.
Zi Qi Dong Sheng ( Purple emerges) is a proverb that means the emperor emerges.
Therefore, purple is one of the favorite colors in China, another one is red.
And I am wearing a purple shirt today. :)

Purple has always been good to me in the gaming world. While everyone else fights over the reds and greens, purple is always waiting for me to claim it and begin our plans for gaming domination.
