Purple Pawn is giving away a prerelease copy of Arch Enemy, the third novel in Frank Beddor’s The Looking Glass Wars trilogy. This softcover proof was provided by the publisher to promote Card Soldier Wars, a game based on the book series, and which is supposed to have both online and offline versions. The online game claims to be an MMO, though it looks to be more like a collectible card game. I’m supposing that the offline game will actually be that same CCG, but in paper form, though I’ve been unable to confirm that or get sample cards.
I’ll provide you an update as soon as I can. But in the meantime, here’s your chance to be reading Arch Enemy before it goes on sale. All you have to do is leave a comment below with a valid email address before 12:00 AM Mountain Time Thursday (maybe tell us your favorite game or Alice in Wonderland character). I’ll pick one entry at random, and in order to get this in your hands as soon as possible, you’ll have to confirm a shipping address within 24 hours. And yes, I’m willing to ship worldwide.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
I love Hatter M!
A free book ? why not ?
I’m surprised I’m the first one to comment.
The only “problem” is that if I win, I’ll probably buy the first two books of the trilogy …
Why are all fantasy/sci-fi books come in trilogies (or N-logies) these days ?
BTW, is 12:00 AM midnight or noon ?
12:00 AM is midnight, giving people 24 hours from when this article posted to enter.
This would be the perfect excuse to start reading this series that has always obliquely intrigued me. I did quite enjoy the Hatter M comic, illustrrated by the wonderful Ben Templesmith.
I like free stuff. Count me in.
Woo hoo, I was just going to make fun of the Tea Cup ride at Disneyland in my next blog post too.
Have been seeing quite a bit about this and the books that go long with it. Would love a chance to give it a read and try.
I’ve had these books on my “to read” list for a while now. Am a fan of Alice, as well as bizarre interpretations such as American McGee’s. Anyway, hope to win it!
Thank you all for participating. By roll of the die, Raviv is the winner.
