Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
Props go to Ed Grabianowski, the Robot Viking, for alerting us to this so-sad-it’s-funny, modern-setting RPG. Synergon (“where dreams come to die”) is a parody of office culture in the form of a tabletop roleplaying game. Among the character attributes is Education (“Does absolutely nothing.”), while among the attack abilities are Belittle, Blame, and Call a Meeting.
I can’t read any more. It’s making me Demoralized (“Max [Ambition Points] points reduced to 30%. When it hurts too much, it takes a special effort to do more than crawl under the desk.”).
