The novella follows the Planewalker Jace Beleren as his return to Ravnica is filled with mysterious gaps in his memory, assassin’s on his tail, and the news that all the guilds of Ravnica are prepping for war. A trip to track down an old friends turns her up to be dead, and an ancient secret having to do with all the guilds is at the heart of everything.

I had never gotten into the Magic fiction, but at $1.99, now might be the time for me to start.
