Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
SoZo is a game about reading passages from the Christian bible. Supposedly, the man who created it had trouble reading from the book and designed the game as an alternative. How he could read the cards, I don’t know.
Anyway, the game is roll-and-move, features “salvation” and “deliverance” tracks, and is playable by up to 12 people.
As far as I know, it’s only available in Kenya.

Sozo is a fun way of reading the Bible and encourages scripture Memory. Martin has a condition called Multiple sclerosis and his optical nerves are damaged hence has difficulty reading unless he is using magnifying lenses. he really loves reading the Bible but since he was having difficulty, he remembered why he was not able to read the bible before his sight begun to dwindle and one of the reasons was it was kinda boring so the Idea of creating the board game came hence the fun aspect.
