Forbidden Desert

Gamewright has announced the upcoming release of Forbidden Desert, a sequel to the publisher’s hugely popular Forbidden Island board game. Forbidden Desert sees the players return as adventurers but this time searching the ruins of an ancient city for the parts to a flying machine. As with the previous game (both are the inspiration of designer Matt Leacock), Forbidden Desert is a cooperative adventure where the players race the clock against a sand storm that threatens to bury them.

The suggested retail price on Forbidden Desert is slightly higher than Forbidden Island but still a very reasonable $25. Also, the game will accommodate up to 5 players.
