TDC Games will soon be releasing an America’s Funniest Home Videos board game. What’s interesting about the game is how it incorporates smartphones into play. The game will be the first in a lineup of “scan games”, which have you scan cards with your smartphone as part of the game.
In AFHV, you’ll be scanning cards to watch the first half of a video. Players then need to guess from several choices about how the video plays out. It’s an interesting concept, but you’ll have to have a smartphone to play the games.
The game is expected to be released in August for $19.99, with a card only version of the game available for $9.99.
