WizKids announced Wednesday upcoming products based on the Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2 video games from Valve. With a license from Valve, WizKids plans a Dota 2 HeroClix collection and an entirely new “game platform” for Team Fortress 2.
The Dota 2 HeroClix series will include two 5-figure starter sets and a 24-figure gravity feed.
The Team Fortress 2 game will be called NextChess. It’s a Chess variant where the pieces wear hats that can be exchanged and captured, transferring the movement characteristics of their original owners.
