A new Monopoly-themed television game show launches in early 2015. Hosted by actor and comedian Billy Gardell, Monopoly Millionaires’ Club is set to dole out $2.5 million in prizes each episode!

All the potential contestants for Monopoly Millionaires’ Club, however, are already winners. Contestants are drawn from the audience and the audience from winners of the Monopoly Millionaires’ Club multistate lottery.

The lottery, which will begin selling tickets in October, also features an unusual prize structure. As more tickets are sold, instead of increasing the size of the grand prize, it’s the number of $1 million winners that will grow.

Konami Gaming (that’s a different division than the one that produces Yu-Gi-Oh!) this week revealed design plans for an upcoming Dungeons & Dragons slot machine.

We built our Dungeons & Dragons games in close collaboration with Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast in order to deliver an entertaining fantasy-themed game based on the classic adventure game, D&D. We are also excited to offer a premium product that has been merchandised in a manner befitting the world’s leading fantasy game brand and designed to stand out on any casino floor.

Konami’s D&D slot machines will be available in 2, 3, and 4 game pods and feature fake stone, glowing runes, hand-painted three-dimensional dragon sculptures, logo emblazoned chairs, and a rotating dragon sign topper.

I’d call it a modern mimic variant.
