Illuminati New World Order, Steve Jackson’s card game that satirizes conspiracy theories, is long out-of-print but continues to provide grist for the mill to those same conspiracy theorists. In the past, it was said that the game predicted the terrorist attacks of 9/11. New theories seem to focus on two cards, “Enough is Enough” and “Charismatic Leader”, with images purported to resemble Donald Trump. And based on the content of those cards, these theories predict an assassination. A simple search of YouTube brings up thousands of such results from just this month.

Terrorist Nuke: INWOThe Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a partial list of documents found in the Abbottabad compound where Osama Bin Ladin was discovered in 2011. Down at the bottom of the list of “English Language Books” is a curious note: a printout of an article from ICv2.com titled “Website Claims Steve Jackson Game Foretold 9/11”. The article at ICv2 summarizes another website’s conspiracy-laden article about how Steve Jackson was able to foretell “the actual plan of the Illuminati to propel the world into the New World Order….[He] knew the Plan so exactly he got a surprise visit from the Secret Service, who tried their best to shut him down and prevent him from publishing his game,” reads the article published in 2004.

ICv2’s reaction: “What?”
