Yup, that’s Top Gun, the 1980s action movie, in the form of a new party game. Scheduled for release in November by Jasco Games, the Top Gun Plot Twist Party Game has players, over a series of hops, executing maneuvers, insults, high-fives, and flipping the bird in an attempt to secure 30 points and the Top Gun trophy. Designed for 2-5 players and consisting of 100 cards, the game is supposed to take 15-30 minutes.

Jasco Games, working with the designers at Lynnvander Studios, is publishing a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer board game. Due at retail in late October, it’s a straight cooperative game for up to six players that’s supposed to take an hour or less.

You help Buffy and her friends to defend the town of Sunnydale from an onslaught of vampires and demons, while ultimately attempting to foil the big bad’s plot and prevent the Hellmouth from opening.

Coming soon from Jasco Games, Mega Man: The Board Game was created for the 25th anniversary of the Blue Bomber. The game is for 2-6 players, and has you controlling a character and Dr. Wily’s forces. You try to defeat robot masters while using Wily’s forces to hinder other players.

In March we’ll see the first expansion, Time Man & Oil Man Expansion. I love the fact that extra robot masters can be added to the game!

The Mega Man board game will retail for $79.99, while the expansion will be $29.99.

Jasco has announced plans for a Street Fighter Board Game based on the Capcom video game series. Though no details of pricing, game-play, or release date were revealed, the company did post on its Facebook page images of several prototype miniature figures.

With the board game announcement, Jasco also said that Street Fighter characters would return later this year to the Universal Fighting System card game.
