Working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Juratoys US has issued a recall notice for two of its children’s games produced under the Janod brand, the Sardines Fishing Game and the Starfish Fishing Game. Both games include a toy fishing pole with a line and plastic worm at the end.

Juratoys has received 417 reports of the worm separating from the line. Though no injuries were reported, the worm could be ingested and pose a choking hazard to children.

The CPSC cautions people to remove the game from the reach of children and contact Juratoys for a refund [PDF].

Juratoys sold about 14,000 of the fishing games through various retailers in the United States.
