Turning Point Simulations was established expressly for the purpose of publishing a series of war games addressing the conflicts listed in the classic military history book, Twenty Decisive Battles of the World. With a goal of four games per year, the first covered Stalingrad, Joan of Arc, Tours, and The Great Northern War.

Each game features a custom design—there is no single rule set. Yet in common, all are supposed to be low-complexity games focused on playability.

This year’s games are The Battle of Saratoga, The Siege of Syracuse, The Battle of Metaurus, and The Battle of Midway.

A $425 subscription will purchase all 20 games, as they’re available, plus a 21st game for a suggested modern (post-WWII) decisive battle.
