A parent of a student at the Cardiff Chess Club has accused the club of “failing” to protect the students from “dodgy” web sites that appear in the referrer list on its web site.
The links on this list, which are generated automatically by a statistics software package and were accessible from the statistics page of the site (now removed), included some sex sites as referrers.
Said the parent: “The material on those sites was disgusting. I’m amazed that children could access such filth.”
Obviously, this parent has never been to Google. Sheesh.
