Posted by David Miller as Miniatures, Modern Board Games
Two new games from Asmodee Editions both have medieval Japanese themes, but involve very different styles of play. Senji is a board game in which players, competing for the position of Shogun, accumulate honor through military action, diplomacy, and trade. Okko, Era of the Asagiri involves a fantasy version of the Japanese theme. It’s a tactical combat game played on modular tiles. Miniatures to replace the cardboard character pieces in the boxed game should be available at some point in the future.
