More than a year ago, Samuel H. Sloan, a former member of the U.S. Chess Federation’s executive board, and a forum administrator accused famed Chess players and board members Paul Truong and his wife Susan Polgar of faking sexually charged posts in his name in an attempt to discredit him. Something to do with board politics.

Internal emails were then compromised, and fingers have been pointed in all directions. The Secret Service is investigating.

Last week, Susan filed a lawsuit claiming libel, slander and business disparagement against Sloan, claiming that he has it out for her family and her new endeavor: the Susan Polgar Institute for Chess Excellence. Susan also claims that her sex and nationality (Hungarian) are a factor.
