Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
With the release of Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition, Wizards of the Coast withdrew its license for 3rd party use of the d20 trademark. After December 31, 2008, publishers will be prohibited from selling products with the d20 logo. So a number of them have put their remaining products up for sale at deeply discounted prices. Atlas Games has lowered the MSRP on d20 print titles by 54 to 85 percent (available online through Warehouse 23). Goodman Games has their’s at 50 percent off. Troll Lord Games is running a BIG CLEAN sale with products reduced to $1-$10. If you know of others, share your tips in the comments.
