The Shropshire Star (UK) mentioned today the upcoming release of a revised Dungeons & Dragons board game. I can find no information about it on the Wizards web site or any other source. But whatever it is, head over to the newspaper’s web site; they’re giving away 20 copies.

It’s not called the Basic Game like in the article and has no miniatures. The picture in the article shows the older D&D 3.5 Basic Game. I wonder, with the new 4th Edition “in the news,” if they are trying to clear out their old stock.
Also sounds like a case of a reporter not familiar with the game, calling D&D a board game. Of course there was a board game years ago…
