Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
These dice are meant to be rolled. They’re the latest from specialty dice manufacturer Q-Workshop (in cooperation with Paizo Publishing)—Pathfinder Rise of the Runelords dice. Sold as a set of seven polyhedral dice, each one features one of the seven Thassilonian runes: envy, greed, lust, wrath, sloth, pride, and gluttony.

Beautiful dice! (As are all the dice that Q-Workshop has been putting out.)
But I’d never buy them. With all that decoration, they’re too hard to read. At the table, with 6 people crowded around in a big combat, sorting out your roll would just take too long.
Just my $0.02
Never let it be said that gamers aren’t willing to sacrifice for fashion—where it counts, on their dice!
I bought these dice at GenCon and love ’em. They are one of my favorite sets, because they’re the only dice I own that are pretty to look at (yeah, I’m a girl) and have good results. Most of my other lovely dice consistently roll low. These guys are high performers and highly recommended!!
