highland_park_chessJerry Neugarten is organizing Chess games for school kids under the auspices of Highland Park Scholastic Chess, with great success.

Clubs at a few schools dwindled out until the HPSC came in, and now attendance is booming. An estimated 100 kids are competing in a tournament today.

Jerry and the organization offer scholrships and other aids to ensure that no kid is left out due to financial need.
