dollar-and-poundThe fine folks over at Bell of Lost Souls posted this little piece pointing out that the British pound has been falling against the US dollar in the last month – and this might be great for gamers in the US.  Their post focuses mostly on the Forge World set of models, but with a ratio of 1:1.37 right now, we wondered what other games might be cheaper than ever for yankee gamers.

  • Uncharted Seas is a great fantasy naval combat game that’s been popular with the D6 Generation folks – and at these rates, you can have the starter set (which has four full fleets and the rulebook!) for just $137 US (not counting shipping) – that’s 40 models and the rulebook folks…
  • Or how about Warlord Games‘ Celtic horde boxed set?  300 Celtic warriors for about $205 US?
  • Or how about painting services like Wargame Innovations where a 28MM miniature can get the showcase treatment for 10.27….err..maybe we should stick with importing miniatures…
