wizkids Topps previously announced that it was selling all of WizKids’ properties, but now intends to keep the profitable Battletech and Shadowrun lines.

This is bound to be disappointing to Catalyst Game Labs, the current publishers of Battletech and Shadowrun products, who had made an offer to buy the complete rights to the product lines. Catalyst had already made a tentative arrangement with Pinata Games, formed by ex-WizKids employees with the intention of continuing the HeroClix line, another former WizKids property.
