bgsThe 2009 Board Game Studies Colloquium is underway in Jerusalem, Israel. This is the only international academic conference on board games that I know of.

Yours truly gave a presentation about Eurogames on the first day. Luminaries such as British Museum’s Irving Finkel and David “The Oxford Book of Board Games” Parlett have also given presentations, so far.
