cthulhu-2Mongoose Publishing and Reality Deviant Publications have just released Shadows of Cthulhu, a classic Lovecraftian horror supplement in paper book form for the True20 RPG. Also, Adamant Entertainment Thursday announced that it has secured a license from Chaosium to produce supplements for that company’s much beloved Call of Cthulhu game. Adamant’s plans include two setting books: The Scepter’d Isle, set in Elizabethan England, and Shadows of the Red Hand, with The Great Old Ones in 1920s gangland Chicago. Development for both will be led by an old hand at the mythos, Kenneth Hite. Even manufacturer Fat Dragon Games is getting in on the action. It too recently announced an arrangement with Chaosium, in this case to make gaming terrain to facilitate the loss of your mind. Gamers sure do love their Cthulhu!
