yu-gi-oh-logoA Dutch appeals court has ruled in favor of Konami Digital Entertainment in a suit brought by Upper Deck International over distribution of the Yu-Gi-Oh! CCG in Europe, Oceania, and Latin America. The decision marks another step in Konami’s consolidation of the brand. And moving forward on support for organized play, Konami also unveiled this week plans for COSSY (the Konami Card Game Official Tournament Support System), which will provide tournament players with unique identification cards, and hosts with barcode scanners for tracking players and updating rankings live online during the course of events.
