Ringing the Bull (or whatever) is a ring on a string tied to the ceiling and a hook on a wall. Swing the ring and try to get it to catch onto the hook. Bimini Ring is its name in the Caribbean, named after a district in The Bahamas.

The fellows at sggc 5mississippi have created a tabletop version called Hookum (pictured). The game is advertised as Simple, in that it requires Skill, No Assembly, No Batteries, and No Brain.
