Amazon’s game recommendations for this holiday season:
- Mindflex: Mattel’s mind-controlled air-pressure activity toy. (info)
- Connect 4 x 4: Two tracks, four disk colors, for up to four players.
- Mickey’s Mouse-ke-TAG: A themed version of Hyper Dash, below.
- Bop It: A flexible gizmo that you have to hit, twist, and turn according to instructions. I wonder why this made the list, and not Bop It Extreme.
- Scene It? Twilight Deluxe: Just because.
- Ticket to Ride: Alan Moon’s hit train board game.
- Hyper Dash: A talking gizmo that has you instructs you to race around. (info)
- Monopoly City: Just because. (info)
- Scene It? The Simpsons Deluxe: See comments on the Twilight Scene It, above.
- Sorry! Sliders: Little to do with Sorry!, this is a shuffleboard-like game. (info)
- CirKis: An abstract game of placing pieces, scoring if you make complete figures. (info)
- Battle Strikers: Battling tops. (info)
- Blurt: Party game of shouting out the right word.
- Giraffalaff Limbo: A limbo game with a hanging electronic giraffe that laughs if you knock him down.
- Monopoly Seinfeld: I have absolutely no idea why this was suggested. I suggest that if you’re that into Seinfeld, get the Seinfeld Trivia Game or Scene It? Seinfeld.
- Ice Age: The DVD Game: DVD games, such as this one and the Scene It games, are more about the videos than the games.
- Telestrations: The game of Telephone, but players alternate writing an object or phrase with drawing the object or phrase.
- Cranium: The original, though I would have expected to see the more recent Cranium Wow. (info)
- Scene It? 80s Deluxe: I don’t know what makes all these games “Deluxe”.
Not a very good list, given the great games that are on the market, but it could have been worse (and probably has been in the past).
