monstersvsmonstersMonster VS Monsters is a 2 player card game designed by Matt Jarbo where players are pitting famous monsters together in battle.

Self produced, the game contains: 20 cards, 2 sets of 6 sided dice, and 1 instruction card.  All of this comes packaged in a reclosable bag for $10.

The game is basically similar to War with a dice rolling element, and is recommended for kids aged 5 – 18.

I have to say that it looks cute, but may not really be all that interesting for the over 10 crowd. The monsters are a bit humorous, but a glorified War is still War.

Still, I may have to pick up a set for my kids. It seems like a good way to work with numbers and basic addition.
