Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
Warpunk Studio has announced the release of Cell: The Corporate War for February 2010. The interesting thing about this news isn’t the release of the game itself, but how they’re releasing it.
Cell will be released through thegamecrafter.com, a site where you can create a board game and sell it with no up front costs. The Game Crafter prices out the game, then you make a profit on how much more you sell the game for. The model is similar to that of cafepress and the like.
Warpunk describes Cell as a cyberpunk, G0-like card game. They’ve setup the “Neuro-Net” on their website as a preview to the game. Their animated woman kinda reminds me of Sarah Palin, and freaks me out.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
lol.. well I’m flattered she has an effect I but wasn’t aiming for that Hawt Librarian Governor look :) The aim was just a simple attractive female bot and then I stuck the name “Pascal” on her for good measure.
Thanks for the mention BTW. Please note that the Neuro-Net isn’t just for marketing but includes story details that will be elaborated should sales of the core game measure up to the effort.
Best regards and thanks again,
Del Esau
