les_lutin_vertsIs your game missing some parts? They’re probably in Montreal.

Les Lutin Verts takes in used board games that are missing pieces, assembles them into finished games, and sells them for less than half the price, generally to families buying games for their own children (less so as gifts). Since they are an NPO, they donate part of their earnings to a local charity, Carrefour familial Les Pitchou. (source)

Otherwise, you could try finding old game parts by:

  • Cleaning up, once in a while.
  • Contacting the game publisher.
  • Shopping on eBay; sometimes a complete copy of the game you need parts for is cheap enough to just buy the whole game.
  • Posting on the BGG game parts forum.
  • Checking vintage game distributors (for example, though this can be expensive).
