Radica Games is working on a number of really cool ideas for games and toys.

We already covered the Thumb Warriors. Another is Cube World. Each cube has a stick figure that plays with his toy, dog, or whatever. But stack them together (up to 16) and they jump from screen to screen and interact.

Another is Ucreate Games and Artimation. Upload photos or draw figures and create a simple game using these pictures, or watch them animate.

Really cool in theory. In practice, I understand that they’re somewhat disappointing; they look so cool, but don’t meet the limits of what our imagination thinks they should be able to do. Kudos to Radica, anyway, for forging steps along the path. Hopefully they’ll just keep getting better.
